This Privacy Policy explains how Appthumb("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use https://appthumb.comand related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you register or sign in, we collect your email address, display name (if you provide one), and a hashed password. If you use Google Sign-In, we receive your Google account identifier, email, and name from Google according to your Google account settings.
Project and listing data
When you submit an App Store URL, we fetch publicly available listing information (such as app name, description, and screenshot images) to power redesigns. We store your projects, generated previews, and—after purchase—high-resolution exports associated with your account or guest session.
Usage and technical data
We collect information needed to operate the Service, including IP address, browser type, device information, cookies, authentication tokens, and logs of API requests and errors.
Payment information
Purchases are processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and order details; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
2. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Generate and deliver AI-redesigned screenshots
- Authenticate you and secure your account and projects
- Process purchases and enforce download entitlements
- Send service-related communications (e.g., account or security notices)
- Comply with law and protect against abuse or fraud
3. AI and third-party services
Redesigns use third-party AI and infrastructure providers. Listing text and images may be sent to those providers solely to perform analysis and image generation. We use hosting, storage, database, and queue services to run the platform. Google processes sign-in when you choose Google authentication, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage for authentication (including guest sessions), security, and preferences. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling them may limit sign-in and studio features.
5. Retention
We keep account and project data while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete projects from your workspace where that feature is available. We may retain certain records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who help us operate the Service, when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. Public App Store listing data you submit is already public on the App Store.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections, access controls, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request. You can update account details in settings where available and revoke Google access through your Google account.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where laws may differ. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer where permitted by law.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
